Meet Mark William Guay - Change Agent #0064 of our #SCN1000ChangeAgents Series.

A few years ago, Mark met up for a cup of coffee that inspired him to change the way he looks at coincidence. A former student had just graduated from a prestigious university and wanted to ask him for some advice. He wanted to live out the greatest version of himself and knew that time is our most valuable asset. As Mark sat there sipping some super snobby coffee, he felt as if he was looking in a mirror. He precisely remember asking himself these very same questions not too long ago, struggling to connect the dots in his own life. After graduating with a sizable chunk of debt from college .

    Mark wondered...

Am I living out the greatest version of myself?

Did I go to the right school? Is my degree worth the debt?

Why did I switch majors so many times?

Did I even choose the right degree?

Am I choosing the right career?

Am I living my life on purpose?

He started to look at the events in his life less like just purpose-less moments, but rather pivotal purpose-filled decisions that shaped him into who he is today. He realized that tiny coincidences have significant positive impact in life if we tune into their meaning. Once he started looking at events in my life as opportunities to grow into a stronger person, more and more beautiful coincidences have shown up just when he needed them. These coincidences continue to mold him into a greater version of himself. After receiving a B.A. in English and Anthropology, Mark took his love for writing and culture and turned it into a wonderful teaching gig because he was inspired to transform the way we educate our children. That’s where he discovered his love to help others connect the dots in their own life and live out the greatest version of themselves. The B.A. turned into an M.S. that coincided with his love to share what he learns through his yoga and meditation practice.
